THE CONVERSATION: How do we encourage integrity in teaching and training?
If moving away from an hours-based credential and toward competencies, how should Yoga Alliance ensure public confidence in the integrity of its standards? How have other industries solved these issues? Should there be a national or international exam? If so, who would design and administer it? Who should take it? Who and how would it be administered, and how frequently? Should yoga schools be required to administer a practicum exam?

– Open call for Advisors: Yoga Alliance is seeking yoga teacher trainers with at least 5 years experience training teachers; experts in other sectors who have implemented testing; people with backgrounds in education and credentialing experts from other industries.
