Kelli Moore, Ph.D., RYT 200 appreciates contemplative practices, which she attributes to her engagement in Quakerism. In 2008, she began an insight meditation practice. By 2015 she decided to unite her interest in an active and healthy lifestyle with her interest in contemplative practices and decided to become a yoga instructor. Kelli teaches slow Vinyasa, yoga in Spanish, and flow and meditation classes.  In the context of yoga and her personal philosophy, peace is comprised of self-regulation and personal inquiry of how we can become our best and be kind to others in society, even in the most difficult moments. Kelli earned her doctoral degree in Political Science and has taught in K-12 schools as well as at the university level. Her website,, is a tesmony to her broader interests in peace.
